exactly right, and i still recall a few tiny pics of vlada in kimono. i tend to believe they are dated before 2004

anyway, i just searched it and there is a sestra bridal wear that recently closed - did vlada buy into that business and start to test her own creative talents or is this a totally different store?

Interesting this just came up. This is sort of related so I'll just quickly mention it. I found out the other day there's a new documentary out in UK called 'Girl Model' about young girls from Siberia getting scouted and sent to Japan to model. It is apparently quite uncomfortable viewing judging by the review. Of course I assume Vlada had a rather more different experience but I don't recall her talking about it in great detail. She got whisked off to Europe quite quickly from the sounds of it.
