^ Doubt it had anything to do with that. She was at couture a couple months later and the pre-fall show in Shanghai (when she had the platinum blonde hair).

But I do find it strange that she hasn't walked for Karl (nor worked with him) since 2009. She was one of his favorites.

not that she's dumb guys, the action is dumb! it takes many years of training to advance to that level, not something that in my opinion is appropriate for a fashion shoot. of course she's not the one who made that decision, i've seen it frequently in fashion and it always gets under my skin.
