I feel like the “Arabness” was sucked out of this edition. I think it’s a real shame this became folded fully into Condé Nast. I feel the Vogues that are thriving are all under license.
Imaan is a star as always but it all feels very bland especially for a relaunch.
It does look old Vogue Mexico because the photographer used to worked a lot for that edition ten years ago. Quite like it because of that. I'm a bit nostalgic about the Kelly Talamas/Sara Gore Reeves days, just for the glamour. They weren't the best, but gosh, all the hot models of the moment were on those covers. Pretty commercial, but still good.
Both subjects looks nice to me. Very Vogue Hombre 2011-16.
