Seriously who would have ever thought that in 2019, the best September cover by far would go to Kim? What a world we live in. Shade aside, Txema is a fantastic photographer and the editorial is stunning.

Kim does wear Thierry Mugler unbelievably well and there's no denying this has turned out to be one of the better offerings for September. However, even given the stunning imagery from Yeste's cover feature, none of the three covers do a thing for me which I find to be a real shame.

I've said it before, Ugbad will succeed in HF where Halima Aden couldn't. Just have a look at her V Magazine shoot by Sundsbo. The girl is HF gold. She needs way more than a Vogue Arabia cover.

Why are some so surprised Kim gives good covers? She always looks sharp, graphic and is unafraid to portray a character— from stripped down and bare for Vogue Spain; to Jackie O/First Lady for Interview; to Olympian goddess for ELLE; to the latest one as a plastic-surgery weirdo in face corset for VJ, she’s got a strong cover record.

This… The first cover with the red paint is decent. The others are on the very tacky, Kylie Minogue Aphrodite/Vegas showgirl side. But that’s likely intentional.

This is a very good cover and fairly memorable. Which is more than I can say for any other September issue really. But that's what you get with Txema.
