Vogue Arabia September 2025 : Kris Jenner by Norman Jean Roy

I’m hardly a fan of this family but saying they’ve “fallen” is misleading when you have both Jenner sisters fronting Prada and Miu Miu campaigns this season…
lol Prada and Miu Miu are really it tbh and when it comes to the reach they had prior is it the same fever pitch….no. The Jenner sisters are part of that family but they aren’t the Kardashians and I do tend to cut them some slack. But kim, Kourtney, kris, and the Khloe are the actual “kardashians” and I was referring to them. They have fallen and you can’t say that you see them everywhere the way we used to or the fandom they once had. The flame burnt out a while ago especially with the Kanye stuff and the only thing propping them up is the money they are able to throw to get attention for announcements of their new plastic surgery or parading their 12 year olds in corsets and inappropriate outfits for rage clicks. Unlike the Hadids who took a very public route as well but somehow have done it way more gracefully and way less cringe and tacky or damaging to society. Either way the whole lot is garbage and we shouldn’t be praising them. I’d rather at this point see Melania Trump on a cover and that’s really low bar.

It’s honestly questionable the amount “positive” feedback in this feed. The woman is responsible for a viral scourge on society that we likely won’t recover from especially one that in part ruined fashion for a lot of people. I’d prefer they send the whole family away from the world but I guess the cover vogue Arabia is one of the last stops because how far they have fallen. I’ll give law roach credit he’s found his groove finally moving beyond living off zendaya tho the end result is still trash.
Agree, and what on earth does she have to do with the Arab world? (and for the most important issue of the year)

That's is one criticism issue has been recieving, from what I read in comment section of vogue arabia's post. Specially with conflict in middle east, which it seems Kris had at some point publically expressed support for Israel. I remember in one of news that created a lot of buzz in the US, a lot of celebrities had showed support for it publically, probably it was at that moment. I think Kylie shared a image was going around in celebrities instagram stories.

The editors probably think Armenians are close enough to the Middle East… and forget that Kris is like… Scotch Irish and German tbh

My favourite way of watching them retain relevance (or creating a 'legacy') is Kim re-wearing vintage outfits so that her name will become embedded in any future reference to the pieces.

Kim choosing to wear Marilyn Monroe's 'Mr President' dress works on two levels - it not only delivered massive publicity on the day she wore it, but it ensured her name would always appear in the same sentence as an actual legend.

Because how can anyone now think about that dress without talking about Kim's desecration of it?

If someone truly respected the piece, they would have worn a copy, but no, it wasn't about the look, it was about creating the strongest possible association for future references.

Going to the Middle East, it’s impossible to deny the influence this woman and her family had in the way a lot of women’s relationship to fashion and beauty, beyond the existing influence (the may have already influenced the Kardashian) of their own culture on the subject.

I don’t know her heritage but Kris Jenner could pass for a Lebanon mother.

So... what (the heck) ?
Keep on reading bland magazines while heads are falling. Or rolling, if anyone is in love with such humanly details.
