Vogue Australia December 2017 : Margot Robbie by Lachlan Bailey

I love the colours and she does look stunning but the positioning made her look much shorter

Margot’s story is nice.

Very commercial with that brand of stylishly laying around the house, and still fun and light.

There are two other fashion stories, “No Filter” that’s very Upper West Side classic YSL with Freja, and “Sound of Summer” featuring a schooner and that brand of lounging about sexily on a sun-drenched deck that’s shot countless times but still dreamy and lovely. And if you count the annoying crayon chicken-scratch drawings of “Clique Couture”, that’s 4 fashion stories.

The overall layout is still horrendous and gives me instant flashback to the type of local magazines that comes with a newspaper, but Vogue Australia’s selection of photographic images still tell a consistent Australian fashion story. And in these days of middle-age editors desperately seeking the approval of SM-weened kidz, it’s a refreshing to see classical beautiful women and dressing these women and not grumpy-looking kidz on a pages of a Vogue.

Must say, the Julia van Os edit could easily have been used for the cover! She looks so lovely here, very much like one of the vintage supers. And I'm truly jealous at the setting and weather.
Don't like any of Margot's shots. It seems they deliberately published so many hoping at least one should appeal to the reader. Pity none of it did.
This is a very depressing issue for December though.

I will flip through this issue for the written content though. Edwina pledged that she would return to the long-form/well-researched style of features and so far have been following through.

Thanks for posting, Zorka! :)

She's stunning but to be honest i don't really like the pictures.

Loving Julia’s edit, straigh out of the pages of 90’s Bazaar.

Julia looks like an Italien movie star . So strong pictures . Adorable
