Vogue Australia January 2013 : Carolyn Murphy by Regan Cameron

She looks like a deer in the headlights, looks very lost|
I love the new layout and the colors are magnificent ... but her face throws me off a little bit :(

I looooooove this. Looks so ethereal and mystical but still quite pretty! I think her eyes will really make it stand out against other magazines as well!

Adore her, but this must be one of the worst faces i have ever seen her give! It looks like a bad outtake, what a damn shame! When you got someone as good as her, you dont do this, you use her to her best potential!

"Effortless" and "Chic" have to be two of the most overused words in fashion right now, especially when combined together, but wordsmanship nitpicking aside, it's a stunning cover and I love it.

love it but something about the face doesnt convince me

How could you resist those incredible eyes   Her expression is a bit disturbing but she looks stunning and I love the bright colors.

The eyes are a little strange, but I like everything else. Unfortunately, the eyes hog up all the attention for me.

Vogue Australia January 2013 review:
176 pages

Sweet Carolyn
With a bohemian eye for detail, pattern and long languid shapes, Carolyn Murphy settles in for an endless summer.
M. Carolyn Murphy/IMG
Ph. Regan Cameron
F'Ed. Lawren Howell
Hair. Diego Da Silva
Make-up. Virginia Young
Manicure. Elle
10 pages
(Cover shoot & main editorial - a beautifully shot rustic/boho inspired editorial; conjures a sense of a very chilled summer spent in The Hamptons/Montauk. Carolyn is wearing all resort pieces and looks particularly fresh-faced.)

Get on Board
Alongside the pursuit of the perfect wave comes the search for the ultimate swimsuit. From sporty maillots to bodacious bikinis in lifesaver brights, the most compelling styles are made for getting wet.
M. Shanina Shaik/Chic Management
Ph. Todd Barry
F'Ed. Rebecca Caratti
Hair & Make-up. Kellie Stratton
10 pages
(Editorial - shot on the NSW Central Coast; Shanina in various swimsuits perfect the Australian summer. Very Bo Derek-esque in the film '10'.)

True Blue
A uniquely Australian way of dressing takes on new definition with a fresh approach to double denim combining innovative cuts and pale washes, as worn by Emma Balfour.
M. Emma Balfour/Priscilla's Model Management
Ph. Paul Wetherell
F'Ed. Jillian Davison
Hair. Alan White
Make-up. Linda Jefferyes
Manicure. Miss Frou Frou
10 pages
(Different variations/combinations on how to wear double denim, against a wooden set. Emma looks fantastic and its quite Celine-esque.)

Reprint of Karlie's Vogue China December '12 editorial.
