Don't like this the only thing I like is her lip color. Her expression makes her face look cockeyed. It is just stale. She has not been delivering that same "fierceness" I used to love about her. I do also like the background of cover. Again looking tired..Take a nap Joanie

She's become somewhat of a hit and miss for me whereas when she first blew up it was stunning after stunning shot

This image is a bit ironic, the way that Joan is photographed and styled makes it almost seem like her body was cropped out of a night time themed image and plastered in a sunny beach background instead, it's unusual that they would mix softness (the setting) and edgy (Joan's outfit) into something like this, there's nothing wrong with Joan's look whatsoever, it's just that this makes no sense.

the styling is so bad for that location it looks so misplaced

A really dreadful cover! The styling is awful and Joan looks absolutely terrible here. What a bad way to start the new year.

love her face and the background but that's about it, the rest is REALLY awful !

i like the cover, mostly from afar though. her right thigh looks a bit too photoshopped and the face pose could be better but i like it. tbh im find the "black issue" words on the lower right funny  like some brasilians aren't black? anyway that's politics. nice cover.

Her worst Vogue cover yet. Everything works separately (except the atrocious styling), but it all clashes when it's put together.

dreadful styling and hair though i like thye black and orange on the background

Love all the elements to this cover separately, but somehow, altogether, it just doesn't work.

Agreed.

I still think Joan looks great here in contrast to her recent covers. My main problem lies with the styling... :ninja:

'Joan Smalls, world's number one is black. This issue too!' :ninja:
