    Ugly cover and pictures. They should fire this photographer.

    Straight from the horse's mouth.....lol. I now believe the 'irreverence' bit may refer to Parr, who is a very off choice for Vogue Brazil.

    at least if it did look like other Parr's work... I would still not like it, not much into his work, but the choice would make any sense. By what we've seen it's just "bad" fashion photography, and not in a ironic manner as a Jurgen Teller story.
    As mentioned by @Benn98 it could have gone better in Elle BR, although I doubt they would be able to get Martin, but if they did their art director would translate better his work to a fashion mag and give him way more freedom than VB.

    Martin Parr is one of the world's greatest photographers... but this doesn't work.

    I don't know whose idea this was (and mind you, Martin Parr once made an entire fashion magazine and it's great - everything was shot by him, fake editorials, fake night life reports, fake ads, it's fun and it features some amazing imagery) but this? This is just not working.
