Ugly cover and pictures. They should fire this photographer.
Straight from the horse's mouth.....lol. I now believe the 'irreverence' bit may refer to Parr, who is a very off choice for Vogue Brazil.
at least if it did look like other Parr's work... I would still not like it, not much into his work, but the choice would make any sense. By what we've seen it's just "bad" fashion photography, and not in a ironic manner as a Jurgen Teller story.
As mentioned by @Benn98 it could have gone better in Elle BR, although I doubt they would be able to get Martin, but if they did their art director would translate better his work to a fashion mag and give him way more freedom than VB.
Martin Parr is one of the world's greatest photographers... but this doesn't work.
I don't know whose idea this was (and mind you, Martin Parr once made an entire fashion magazine and it's great - everything was shot by him, fake editorials, fake night life reports, fake ads, it's fun and it features some amazing imagery) but this? This is just not working.

This is trash, ok?
is this the only editorial from this issue?
No, the other one is even worst. Too dark, so strange. And its summer here...
