Vogue Brazil July/August 2020 : Teresa Cristina by Samuel de Saboia

the magazine is so bad that after so many protests in brazil about their editorial position that they are visibly desperate to do something "new" and inclusive. now they are announcing covers in advance (and the delay to arrive at the magazine remains the same) and everything seems like a constant fear for having made such an ugly mistake in the last months. inside the magazine we continue with purely paid materials (deliveries from advertisers) and short notes. there are no profiles or any relevant text. the poverty of content is evident and you finish "reading" the entire magazine in less than 30 minutes.

not to mention the graphic design that is simply lazy and dated.

Yikes, what editorial position have they taken that's so problematic?

It's quite sad to see this Vogue Brazil sink into such irrelevance because it used to be a powerhouse under Daniela, even if I didn't like her obsession with Gisele. They've had so many notable hits.
I dunno, maybe it's also tied to the economy because if there's no advertising then it also means there's no market or advertisers cannot afford to buy pages which again comes down to the luxury market.
