An underrated gem from this year's March issues. Easily one of the best when it comes to Vogue editions, right there with Polska's cover story in my opinion. It's very classy and luxurious in that old sense that we don't see much of anymore, it evokes the feeling Mario Testino used to bring to the table with his work. It's not overly extravagant or gaudy, it's not overly commercial or accessible. It has that perfect balance that got lost from fashion somewhere along the way.
A beautiful subject in styling that flatters her beauty, clothes selected and photographed to actually appeal to the viewer (can rarely go wrong with the classic Chanel fashion) and a dash of flapper fantasy. It's fashion how it should be done. Perhaps in another time I wouldn't be so impressed by it, but it's a saving grace these days.
