Pretty good covers, although I feel like a photographer other than Porodina could've elevated the images a bit more. Still it could be worse I guess. Fei Fei's cover is easily the best; the group image is too crammed for me!

Frankly, the results are a cluttered mess despite the effort. Some nice compositions tho. I get the impression that they insisted that Elizaveta take it easy with her 101 PS layers/effects DeviantArt style, and gave her the Prada S/S Prada 2009 campaign by Meisel as a reference. But her heavy-handedness just couldn’t help herself. She still doesn't understand that editorials still need to sell the clothes to the reader-- not render their texture to a flat 2-D texture at the expense of pushing her CGI painting.

Unfortunate, since the cast is so supreme.

Maybe the other cover with Chinese actresses features another photographer. A Chinese one. But who knows?

It's BEYOND drab.
It's so sad looking.
There's NO energy.
It wants to be chic but it's sooo boring.
I'm shocked how much y'all love this.
They just stand there, they're almost angry.
It's SO STATIC, ugh just mediocre at best.

You can't for real convince me that these 120 000 covers for that one issue are ''just as good'' as the previous Vogue China anniversary covers.

I can't believe what that male editor in chief has done to this magazine.

I guess they went for the ''serious-elegant-Armani ad campaign look shot à la Paolo Roversi'' type of photos but it ended up even worse than this weird combo.

Nope, I'm not calling thi ''beautiful'' or ''wow so stunning''. I would reject this shoot had it been sent to me and told the photographer if he was kidding.

It's like a catalogue but with some fancy tricks.

I see there's clearly potential but it's a waste of a shoot.

I am OK with the cast, the final result is good. Can't complain much. I always thought Elizaveta Porodina is a Javier Vallhonrat wannabe lol
