Vogue Czechoslovakia May 2022

Just out of utmost LOVE and RESPECT for you, my precious @vogue28, as well as many other members of this amazing community , I've decided - not now but 48 days ago! - to swallow my pride and refrain myself from any commentary when it comes to the topic in question.

However, as one of the most prominent members of this subforum, I believe that I have every right to express my opinion through the following quote:

"Truth is like the sun. You can shut it out for a time, but it ain't going away." - Elvis Presley.

The TFS members put more time and effort into the cover challenge thread than whatever this mess is.

Please do what you wanted to do, but remembered to put fashion as your focus.

I'm very happy to see any tFS member succeed on this level, what a great opportunity! So major congratulations are in order!

However, I will admit that I do not care for the covers at all. The message is there, there is importance to it but just like at the height of covid I can not bring myself to appreciate the statement covers such as a blank canvas or a block of text or anything like that. I would be massively disappointed and much more crass about this if the pandemic hadn't built such a thick skin against all such allegedly intellectual provocations. I learned to give up on Vogue. There's no reason why this couldn't have been a limited cover or a digital cover. But three newsstand covers? Only at Condé Nast.

But again, massive congratulations to tarsha!

Love that was made with a former member!
Again, It would be great if was a dust cover ou Just a special limited one
But its also important for the moment i guess

All aside, these covers are a bit late though. They should stay on the internet. Paper waste.

Insanely proud of Tarsha!

However these covers..... could've been... elevated.

imagine if the cover was a portrait of a model wearing a tshirt printed with that phrase against a yellow backdrop

Right? They picked the wrong TFS member.

looks like something a 9 year old would do in MS Paint

hard pass.
I get that Fashion magazines aren’t JUST about clothes and models but they are also about fashion.

the message could’ve easily been passed having a more artistic and fashion approach in mind.

regardless, we stand with Ukraine. there’s no room for bigotry, fascism and terrorism.
