What a boring *** issue wow, reprints and bad shoots. NEXT !

Emily looks heinous in that blonde wig. Well, the fact she still can't emote that much at all in the face is heinous itself. All these years and still very little to show for...

Aylah should have been given the cover story alongside her original edit. A long editorial with the variety of shots would have been a wonderful surprise.

The rest makes little sense in relation to the issue. That's what you get for pushing reprints, Condé Nast.

Flicking through it yesterday, from what I remember, the anniversary section is people/models being asked about their first time in Vogue, plus some arty covers created by people. There's no decent retrospective content, which would have made the issue worth buying for me. Yep, not the right sort of reprints.

As for Emily being shot by Helmut Newton, I could imagine him passing on the opportunity, knowing that the model might make full use of the initial publicity surrounding the shoot - and six months later, wring a few more drops of self-directed attention out of it, by complaining to the world about his working methods.

Admittedly, I don't find this to be the absolute worst cover of Vogue Spain I've came across in recent months. Quite fond of the styling on Ratajkowski in the cover image and like the orange and black together. The elements work but all just feels so random to celebrate 35 years!

it’s a solid issue but since it’s a celebratory one I was expecting something even stronger.
Emily’s editorial has some nice shots, better than her Versace ad campaign that’s for sure and I absolutely love the ‘Paris, Texas’ nod to the picture with the blond wig. beautiful.

Ayla’s editorial is amazing so well done for that.

Oh I forgot about her antics. That changes everything.

Who told Emily she should model? After Versace fiasco I didn't expect anything from this cover, but this is simply a terrifying image. She is an instagram girl at best, who gives her all these exclusive jobs?
