Quite disappointed so far, the first two covers were divine and now the direction of this magazine seems to be changing.

40 pages of editorial and they choose these for the cover. I can't imagine the rest.

Go to the instagram feed of any 20 year old hipster living in Athens and you can find more inspired shots. I love Lanthimos but this is such a wasted potential. The vibe is right but the direction is all wrong.

The swimsuits on both covers are by Gucci. And Lanthimos just shot a campaign for them. Hmm...

Anyway, since I'm in Greece I'll pick this up on Sunday just to see what it looks like, I'm sure 40 pages means a sort of cinematic story, set in hipster 80s throwback Athens apartments.

I really adore Stella Lucia and I also like Aymeline Valade so I was excited when I saw the thread title. But this is quite disappointing. I hope the editorial is better.

Why is Yorgos Lanthimos shooting Vogue covers? He's a great filmmaker, not photographer. Both of these covers are awful, particularly the second one, which makes Stella look like a meth addict. Not appealing.

What in the Vogue Ukraine is this. After that utterly spectacular relaunch cover with Bella Hadid, I had such high hopes for Vogue Greece. Evidently, and very much like Vogue Hong Kong, it is proving to be a total flop.

Stella looks very young. Daphne Groenveld always looked young but never to such an extreme. Who will her cover appeal to? Aymeline’s cover is good until you look down at her big giant feet.

Martin Parr must've been overbooked. It's a shame because on the one hand I'm very happy to see Aymeline on a Vogue cover again, but it's just too unremarkable for words.

The Czech one too. According to sources, the whole Czech team is going to be sacked tomorrow and the licence will go under a different publishing house.
