Terribly lifeless cover. Although I do think Josh seems somewhat attractive in the photo, there's nothing grabbing my attention about this cover, and sadly is seems that Vogue Hommes has consistently been on a downhill trend of uninspired fashion publications...

I don’t like the way his face is lit.

Looks like Another Man circa 2010s. I'm faintly indifferent to it, but its not a bad cover.
We now live in a world where French GQ is far more interesting and strikes up way more talking points than Vogue Hommes. And we're only just two issues into GQ France's redesign. LOL.

Maybe PamBoy got the wrong end of the stick and it's in fact Vogue Hommes that will be shutting down. That I can actually see happening and truth be told I won't shed a tear. In fact I'd say good riddance. This magazine hasn't had a hit for God knows how long. It has lost its usefulness some time ago.

Seem like no magazines have done him right. What's happening with David Sims work lately, it's just so lifeless and cold. I'm more interest in the inside contents of the magazine. At least Rafael, Ethan and Theo will deliver.

Seem like no magazines have done him right.

IRK?!? He has a Sid Vicious type of cool that should be so easy to work with for fashion shoots, and he fronts one of the most playful and experimental fashion brands which means he'll be open to new ideas.
The best photography I've seen of him was for Loewe.

This is their first non-model cover since a very long time, I believe the last one was James Jagger for S/S 2016. Tt is a bit unfortunate that he is lit the way he is. They should listen to drag queens and learn to have the light facing him not cast a shadow on him....

His Esquire UK cover is the best so far and it isn't that flattering.

I do hope for good content.

Awful lighting but he's my favorite actor at the moment, so I'm still looking forward for the inside edit.

Agree that Vogue Hommes has been a waste of paper for too many seasons, kind of ironic if you consider how much more importante menswear has become in the last decade...

This magazine used to be so sexy. I don’t understand now

Sexy is sexist now. Of course portraying sexy doesn’t have to be only glistening-and-wet-and-naked, but the new generation of photographers aren’t skilled and creative enough to conjure any other concepts other than kidz sitting/standing around staring into the void. And people like Sims can’t seem to be bothered making the effort anymore.

(...Meanwhile, Zara is giving effortless smoulder and sex appeal in its new campaign— and all produced by the Greats.)

I like it and I like the cover.
he’s becoming one of my favourite actors, he was incredible in ‘God’s Own Country’ and apparently very good playing Charles (The Crown), I haven’t watched yet.

It's a different look from what we normally see in this kind of magazines, I like it.

Is that my boy Parker I see in the previews!? he is staying booked! I am glad they got Pavarotti, his work shines here compared to the other editorials.

yes shot by Ethan James Green !
Btw, Digital edition Mag already out in pressreader .
