Uhm, are they doing the art direction on Canva? Looks so cheap, especially the wording as well.
And then there's the image. Hair colour, skin, and lipstick look the same, the dress, the fact that she's not making eye contact, and the fake smile she's giving? How can everything be wrong about this cover?

She already had to wait this long for a Vogue India cover and now they've mucked it up.

I've always felt that Vogue India looked the cheapest of the bunch. It's always been such a cheap looking mess from the clothes to disastrous photoshop on cover subjects. It's such a pity.

All the potential ruined by the lack of taste. Mindy deserves better. Heck, India deserves better.

I always forget that Nigel Barker wasn't the only 'photographer' on that show.

He was not a judge but he was one of their favorite photographers because he was consecutively booked for shoots from cycle 8-14 iirc (don’t mind me, the show was one of my guilty pleasures ). He did become a judge on Asia’s Next Top Model for one season, though. Of all the photographers the show helped make pseudo-famous, I’d say Yu Tsai has the most tolerable works.

Just saw his IG, mainly shoot stuff for people like the Chrissy Teigen, the Biebers, and People magazine. And his wife is the go-to stylist for the Kardashians.

This Vogue edition has no standards.

I was surprised that this was shot by Mike Rosenthal since I remember him as the photographer of that remarkable beauty shoot on Top Model 16. Not even Cosmo USA could put that image on their cover, and that says something.

She looks beautiful in the editorial I wish they had picked a different look for the cover maybe the Versace.

LOL @ "renowned fashin photografa" Mike Rosenthal shooting this cover (wait that was the line for Nigel, right?). I always remember his garbage superheros shoot from Cycle 5 where the girls were on a zip line .

This looks predictably awful - the editorial is somewhat better, but only in a 'Good Housekeeping' kind of vein. Mindy's facial expression looks really weird in some images like the cover and the penultimate one in the editorial, like she was suffering through the shoot and then had to give her some drugs to help her "push through the pain" and make her look serene .
