As much as I love Natalia I hate the sort of in the clouds double face thing they've got going on with this cover. It reminds me of those cheap school portraits where they put another picture as an inset - it ruins the otherwise beautiful image for me. The colors and styling are spot on but that second floating Vodianova head leaves me cold. The picture didn't need that effect but whatever - its a small qualm. At least a girl I like is on the cover of Vogue Italia and that hasn't happened for awhile...

I don't rightly know what's going on with that cover shot, but to me it looks like a drawing you'd get in one of those fantasy calendars with fairies, with the cute hair and the swirling background, and if that's the intention - that she's supposed to look like an illustration - than I'm OK for it to not be at all realistic.

I wonder what the 'story' of the cover really is... hurry up style.it and update with the animated edit!

I dunno about you guys, but all I see is Meisel running out of ideas then running to his computer to photoshop Natalia like crazy then coming up with something that looks like an anime fansite. It's cute, yeah and I love Natalia! But 2 months in a row of Meisel going crazy with his computer is not a good sign. (And just because the model last month was bland and this month it's Natalia doesn't really make this any better than last months's... sorry)
