What happened!? I was expecting more than this! Why can`t she just look straight in the cover and kill us with a dead-fierce stare? WHY!? This is just awful

Overall it looks nice. There may be too much make up and airbrushing involved and the mouth may look weird, but it's Raquel on the cover of VI! Even if she had a bag over her head I still would've loved it, because it's Raquel on the cover if VI! :woot:

I don't like the make-up and the wig on her, but that's intriguing and classic overall.. so I wouldn't call it a bad cover :p Reminds me of some covers from the early 2000s.

I like this, kinda looks like old Vogue cover

To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed, definitely not one of the best VI covers.

Woah the opposite of what i was expecting, but i LOVE it! She is in the moment, and is rocking that wig! Although it reminds somehow of Daria when she was on the cover, the overall feel of it.

Exactly.
It reminds me of Hannelore Knuts' Italian Vogue cover somehow.

what's wrong with steven?

This.

Vogue Italia's covers have gone from boring to painfully bad. The image itself is really horrible, the styling is awful and, ugh I can't find a single positive thing to say about. Also, Raquel's face looks extremely airbrushed.

I don't know if I'm looking at the same cover as everyone else, but I love it. It's simple, features a great, strong model and is thankfully more interesting than a blank stare. Like bones pointed out, it has some personality which is a welcome change from the inconsistent year Meisel has been having (at least for covers). Thumbs up from me.

Yessss, Hannelore's cover is what I was meaning :p In addition to this Snejana's cover in November 2005, too. Maybe that's because both were shot in the white background emphasizing each model's personality.

The wig just spoils it for me and her facial expression and i also dislike the text in every way shape or form.
but on the plus side, I'm happy Raquel finally landed a cover, about time, next stop Vogue Paris.
