i like this ed, but i don't think it's as successful as the past amish ed with amanda moore, etc.
there was something about that ed that seemed more "fashionable" whereas this one seems a bit flat...

why is it boring to you? because it's not your style, right?

it's not just that it's boring. 99% of what is shown in fashion mags, no one really wears the way it's presented because it's not realistic to wear one label head to toe and be fashionable at the same time. this is not the point. the point is that these clothes and the presentation (amish) for an entire editorial is not what fashion is about. of course it's more interesting than studio shots with a white background, but it's not what i think of when i think of vogue italia, which is supposed to be the best fashion magazine.

and moreover you don't explain why you don't like.
why this theme shouldn't be shown in a magazine? why these outfits shouldn't be styled this way in Vogue Italia? Why isn't it what fashion is about?

It's just an option, a way you could interpret the trends. I never said you had to reproduce what's printed in fashion magazine....
I said it could be inspiration.... Inspiration is not appropriation or even reproduction...

and let me tell you : being fashionable is not really interesting, important to me... I always prefer people who have attitude no matter what they wear is fashionable or not...

I would love to scan from Vogue Italia but I was told that Italian magazines are "shipped via the South Pole" from Italy to Austria (in fact we're neighbors). The February issue of Vogue Italia (the one we're talking about!) is said to be available here on Feb. 27 - no typo!

I went to the bookstore today. I picked up 7 magazines, Vogue Italia among them... I walked toward the cash desk, stopped, went back to the international magazines section and left my copy of Vogue Italia... However hard I try, I just can't seem to buy this mag lately They're trying too hard these days
