Vogue Italia February 2011 : Candice Swanepoel by Steven Meisel

I'm surprised how much I like the editorial but I see similarity with September 2010 editorial with Miranda Kerr.
And she has two editorials in the issue? I mean "Head Shots", or is it multi-girl ed?

It doesn't make a good VI main editorial for me. Not quite inspired.

Loving the B&W shots though, they're beautiful.

I love the main editorial. Simple studio shot but stunning. Like it.
Ann ward ed is inside?

Ajak,Sesilee,Jourdan,Chanel,Ann... someone help me id the other models, not very good at that..^_^:flower:

The main editorial is more or less what I was expecting, but it is pretty good.
The best shot IMO is Candice in the black underwear with the yellow jumper and the BIG hair......if your gonna go for it with this kind of editorial you might as well REALLY go for it.
There were lots of members saying she reminded them of Amber Valletta, which personally I couldn't see. But, having seen the edit. now the whole thing really smacks of Richard Avedon's work for Versace circa late 90's, with the grey backdrop studio work, also poses and bright, luminous clothes.
Here is an example which oddly features Amber Valletta.

Loving the all black girl ed! :woot: The group shot should've been the cover

In that shot with the lime trousers, where she's contorting herself in crazy ways in order to give the impression of having a waist and hips... I'm not expecting va-va-voom curves from any model, but sometimes it looks so absurd, the back-breaking twists and bends that have to be employed to create the illusion.

I hope there are a whole lot more pics in the black girls editorial. It looks pretty much amazing....the styling and colours and stunning and Ajak is ruling it so far.

Model: Valerija Kelava

the black girls editorial is amazing, all the girls look stunning, the styling is superb, and i love the vibe and decandence in it.
i think there will be more shots maybe 8-10, since there are 10 girls, only IMG updated their profiles.
thank you for the last models names ForChicSake :flower:
Valerija looks great, Roversi really loves her, i guess that can go well with the androgyny theme that LOVE mag wanted
thank you zfashionblog for the scans and Kenzofanatic :flower:

I am in love with the black girl ed. I must say, that entire set belongs to Ajak! She is owning it!! Although Joan Smalls is noticeably absent from the black girls ed. Maybe shooting clashed with something else.

ZFashionBlog, is this editorial also in this issue?

Wow i have to say Candice and Meisel may be my new favorite team:DAbsolutely love the edit, the mix of the b&w shots with the color are fabulous, shes really killing it. The multi girl edit is amazing too, the group shot is sizzling:heart:

on another hand, i'm really fond of Paolo Roversi story... soft power...

I'm not fan of candice's cover and never thought i would say this but I'm absolutely in love with her edit:wub:....some shots are stunning and also see that Amber's resemblance.

& DIOSSSSS => What a body!:brows:
