"the glamorous housewife" god i'm so tired of this theme... so unoriginal and a bit tacky actually - not vogue paris tacky (which i usually love) but really tacky. not to mention the whole woman=housewife idea and, of course, a model choice that definitely doesn't help.

What I like about it is that Carol doesn't look like the sugary sweet, 'May I fetch your dinner, hubby?' type of woman; she looks b*tchy or at least quite detached, and the shots of her lighting up at a burner and stabbing at a cake with 'happy' spelled out on it show her dark side. But I agree that such editorials aren't terribly original, and she is hardly my favorite model.

caroline's ed was nice, but i think lara did it hotter and better in V, i think it was. i mean, the way that lara was sucking on that blow-dryer??? scaaandalous

I love Miles Aldridge's ed, no matter how many times he has shot similar eds, with a similar attitude and similar colours, it's still great. He's really good at shooting that kind of editorials.

Wow the McDean ed is really wonderful! Thank you! I might buy this afterall...I loved the cover and feature ed but the majority of the other eds has let me down...

The Trentini ed reminds me somewhat of that ed in Vogue Paris Oct 05 (?) with Gemma Ward where she cuts her hair. It uses the same angles if I remember right. The name of the photographer has slipped my mind...
