this is quintessetial and representative of the christian dior coined term the "new look" in the 50's. i think this image is an excellent throwback of that era. Daria is perfect!

I really how Vogue Italia has only a word or two on the covers. It puts the focus on the photography, which is where the focus should be! And the one or two words they choose don't bombard you with information...they just evoke a mood or feeling. US Vogue could most definitely learn a thing or two.
