^I agree. Almost every 80's cover I've seen is a boring, uninspired beuaty close-up.

at least they all look like real covers...to me a beauty shot is much more suitable for a cover than variation of whatever...these days many of the covers can hardly be called covers...It is true that the early 80s were kinda boring, but that was the fashion...when Steven Meisel stepped in, a huge improvement came, but we can not judge the old covers, they were Ok for their time.

I only like the February and July covers. The January and August aren't bad either but the rest is just poor. Disappointing year for Vogue Italia.

Not a single cover I liked. September could've been a great cover, but the gave so little attention to Carolyn.

November is hands down my favourite cover this year, so so gorgeous.

This was a meh year for Vogue Italia. Last years it was hit or miss but this time its like ok or miss what kind of bothors me, even tho they are always trying to built controversy they were kind of lazy doing it this year for making it in a predictable (November), and also had amazing cover stars and did nothing special with them (May, June). And then some of them are plain ugly (March, April, October).
Looking at this year I would say the most interesting cover is February and July. Even tho Im also a fan of January and August.

Apart from Fei Fei's cover and Karen's presence, it's been quite a weak year so far. Naomi's cover is seriously one of the most boring ones in the history of Vogue Italia.

Lets hope the second half of 2013 will be better.

^I find it very intersting that I have the opposite view..I think this year Vogue Italia have done a great job.From the model choice to the cover itself,everything is at its best for me..

March, April and May are the only covers that reminds me of what Vogue Italia used to be. They may not be that great although.

The covers this year (first half) have been really safe. Boring at times.
