Not bad, but it doesn't evoke anything. It's just there. Plus I'm sick of this dress.

She's never looked more like her mother than she does here.

I like the black background, it's a throwback to the mid 2000's. Unfortunately the background is all I like. Lily is very dull in print. Nothing against her personally, but people should really stop forcing her on us.

I don't think it's a cover-worthy picture.
I mean, I had such a high hope for the first edition of Vogue Japan.

she is so young but yet i have never seen her having fun on any of the photos... does she actually do anything apart from posing... i am intentionally not using the word modelling...

If not even Lindbergh managed to photograph the essence of this girl, it means that she doesn't have anything to show in front of a camera in my opinion.

Resort for the first cover of the year? Really?
It's time to chill on the brand ambassadors. I feel like everytime a celeb is on a cover of something, she is tied to a brand.

Looks like a supplement cover. I really miss the old days of Vogue Nippon. -_-

It´s ok but I expect more from VJ...

I always keep my expectations low for VJ these days.

This must be the first time Peter's produced something that's very catalogue-looking.

But more importantly, what's Peter Lindbergh doing shooting covers for Vogue Japan?? Talk about a mindfck.
