LOVE this : it's an image that makes me smile, it has that traditional vibe with the outfit, the seriousness thanks to great simple hair and makeup and the pose is commanding a lot of presence. I love love this image, can't believe a team could produce such an elegant cover when you compare it to US Vogue with that influencer lol. The layout also works for me but I still dream about the old Vogue Nippon traditional coverlines and white background.

The editorial is boring. But the cover is very good!

Nothing will perhaps ever come close to Anna Sawai by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin for W Magazine but this is very nice. Sawai must be a photographer’s dream. She always photographs so beautifully, and this is no exception. The colors are gorgeous!
