Vogue Japan March 2023 : Momo, Sana & Mina by Yeongjun Kim

The cover looks so freaking random like an AFTER PARTY shooting....by a random passerby...

And the vertical display of text is truly ugly and manipulating the space of cover...which is almost the same height of the models...wtf

This magazine is so dead. It would really be ok for it to be shut down.
To waste a decent budget on such a cover and expect it to not only sell but draw in a new audience?

I like the way the colours of their outfits look when they're standing close together (Prada got me good with that collection) but that's about the only thing I like. What is that shot, and what is going on behind them, this looks like a screencap from a behind the scenes video and not, you know, the cover.

it could’ve been good without that silly background and zoomed in. why are they so far off??
these are K-Pop girls right? I have no clue.

yeah they should have made better use of those dresses.

They're singers in a kpop group but they're Japanese (the group releases music in both Japanese and Korean).

Those distorted faces on the screen in the background is sending me...

I feel like we're witnessing the death of another Vogue, as if we hadn't seen enough already

If only it was zoomed in without that strange background

I know part of it is the result of policy and the death of print in general which has been ongoing since the 00s, but this is a pale shadow of what Vogue Japan delivered in that decade (yes they had the white covers but they had killer editorials).
