How many covers?!?!?! It baffles me that magazines still insist on the dead horse of multi covers. It takes no bravery to publish every last shot...in fact, it wreaks of desperation...throwing everything at the wall, hoping as a viewer I’ll like one cover JUST enough to spend my money on an issue. Unfortunately for them, I haven’t spent a penny on a single magazine in probably 5 years - at least.
This kind of photography is just so passé, too. This brand of “FIERCE, HUNNY” fashion is wearing thin, and it’s because it lacks any sophistication...it’s Drag Race. Now, don’t get me wrong, either...I’m just as tired of the faux-intellectual natural photography on the other end of the spectrum in fashion photography these days.
It’s rare to see anything anymore that has some kind of aspirational glamour and beauty but doesn’t insist on veering off into cheesy, CGI clichés, either.
