Vogue México November 2007 : Elise Crombez by Rennio Maifredi

I always forget how well I like Elise, until I'm reminded by seeing her in print again. Which unfortunately, doesn't seem often enough...

Vogue Mexico all of a sudden is just amazing! I didn't even know it existed until they put Heather, Hana, and Elise on the covers.

well I think its nice, first because Im mexican LOL and then I thnk that of the world editions of vogue thi is one of the ones that has the most amazing covers!!

Well i think it's right to correct that it is not VOGUE Mexico
it's VOGUE latinamerican, which is totally different, this magazine is edited in miami and it goes for all the countries in latin america, I'm argentinian and I think it's fair to say that it is not for Mexico...otherwise I would call it Vogue Argentina

so mods if you want to correct the title, please do

The editorial of the Posh & Becks and the Ronaldo and Daria, comes in a Vogue men edition, with the main magazine, and they are all reprints...so reprints that we' ve seen it everywhere, same goes with Carol Trentini's one

there is like 2 or 3 more eds...one with Sasha, but i dont know if they are reprints, and one of the others is almost dedicated to Gucci fall winter 0708

Oh, it's tiring having to deal with this argument month after month...

Vogue Latin America is published by Advance Magazine (Condé Nast division based in Miami). I'm not entirely sure whether it's printed there but that would be my guess since South America is getting it with a general area tag (Latin America) and not an specific country.
Vogue Mexico, on the other hand, has the same fashion and editorial content as Latin America (edited in Miami) but there's also national coverage (there is a Vogue Office in Mexico, not just a distributor), AND it's printed and distributed for Mexico only by DIMSA, who are the ones financing the Vogue Mexico title and emphasis as well as making it more accessible than your regular Miami-based publication which would cost over 50 pesos and not the 30-something of Vogue. The barely distinguishable measurements are more numbers and certainly trying to tackle the proximity and cheap availability of US Vogue in Mexico by building a market for their own magazine at any cost (this magazine being the original Vogue Latin America but semi adapting it to both Mexico's needs and unfortunate geography).

So no, the title isn't wrong. nor it would be a Latin American one. complicated but there you have it.

hahaha I know, each time a thread about Mexican vogue is done we have this discussion LOL!

^ Anyhow ... I just hope that the eds from Vogue MEXICO have improved ... Ive seen a couple and *I* feel embarassed just by looking at them ....

And Vogue Latinamerica just gets lots of re-hashs and photos/ed from previous old-*ss Conde-Nast publications ... blah!

PS The cover is OK ... and its an improvement

hahahahha well yeah hopefully editorials come better next moth;)

Vogue Latinoamerica is actually Vogue Mexico. Why do you think Mexico is the only country where it has its name inside the O? All others have Latinoamerica. Enough said!

theres actually vogue latin america and vogue mexico, two different magazines
