Vogue Netherlands April 2020 : Mica Arganaraz by Willy Vanderperre

Oh dear. That's unfortunate....

I have so much love & respect for Mica but this is bad ...They did her dirty here ....Still happy for her to snag another Vogue cover though...

That outer stroke is CRIMINAL.

Vogue NL is one of the worst offenders out there. The level of taste! In what world is this worthy of being a Vogue cover? Some art director got paid for this? Literally.

And its obvious that this is some cheap knock-off of Vogue Paris' February 2020 cover. The cut out schtick is a dead giveaway. But hasn't this magazine patterned itself with VP since time immemorial?

LOL, Karin Swerink just heaved a sigh of relief!

This was supposed to be something epic. They had Vanderperre, whose work I can't abide at all, but that it's his first Dutch Vogue cover should have been a special moment. Instead it turned out to the worst cover of not only March, but for 2020.
And this EIC's obsession with VP is getting out of hand now.

Even Sassen, Van Drimmelen and Van De Wijngaard at their worst would top this.

Because her "L3g@cY" was continued?

:lol::lol: Touche! Only this time, under the guise of more high fashion prestige.

Always baffles me for Dutch and German magazines have the worst art direction across the board. I can only imagine what sort of assignments are handed in at their higher institutions.

Hideous cover!

It’s for April by the way.

Looks like a fan made cover. Not what you would find made by a tfs'er in the cover challenge thread, but by a 12 year old in 2007.
