What a waste of Alek Wek. And is Sean Thomas really a fashion legend?

With Gigi Hadid's sticker-covered face last month and this issue's slightly illegible layout, one can assume that they're aiming to outdo what Farneti did to Vogue Italia a few years ago.

If being eternally Bruce Weber’s understudy means a “legend”… I guess having Bruce banished from the industry has done wonders for his career, so there’s that.

It’s not a select I would go with, but these Scandinavians seem so desperate to cast Black presence in this sort of raw, candid aesthetic, rather than have the modes look the best that they can— cuz raw beauty and all that. Alek is still radiant and puts in the effort, unlike Naomi. Just looking at her without even knowing it’s Alek— you just know she’s a model with those unreal proportions.

The annoying running-out-of-ink handwriting of the coverlines, on the other hand... Bruce Weber shoots did it better.

I actually like it the colours and the jacket against her skin tone looks nice. Only thing i hate is her tongue being out and the text covering the masthead.
