Slightly off topic but there's an absolutely stunning Vogue cover from the 70's - 80's with the Finnish model Pia-Sofia Kiukkonen wearing a F1 helmet. I've turned over every rock trying to find it. It's not Paris or Italy, possibly Hommes. Did Hommes even exist back then?

It was definitely Vogue Hommes (Summer 1974), shot by Hans Feurer.
