Vogue Netherlands November 2017 : Natasha Poly by Alique

Wow, I actually love this! I really like the effect of the rain on the cover (except for that one drop on the bottom of her chin...that kind of irks me lol :pink:) But Natasha looks raw and beautiful (I also love the intensity in her eyes) and the sweater/hat combo works tbh. Bravo, Vogue Netherlands!

Whoa, after VT, another disaster cover for Poly! What is going on! This just doesn't work for me, she almost looks like Diane Kruger on a bad day, here!

Indeed another disaster, she looks harsh and unfocused.

Natasha really is an amazing model. She really knows how to adapt to the environment and serving it to the children every time. Only the people who can look beyond the glamour and standard beauty can truly appreciate her work ethic! I have to agree with bluestar because of the raindrops on her chin, lips and in her hair....her sadden eyes and slightly open lips.... ughhh I can't :wub: soo good!

A beauty is a beauty and as i've said before, Natasha is always a good idea. Marvelous cover. Raw and fantastic...Not so sure about the sweater with the hat but it's a good cover.

She is glamorous no matter what!

I really like it. Love the Elle retro vibe and I´m oddly drawn to all the drops.

Finally! We can get over last month's disaster. Love how natural this is, not any random model could have made this great. Bravo VN team and Natasha.

This was shot just like a month ago. They really wanted Natasha on the cover.

Terrible! I'm actually surprised because Sept aside, Dutch Vogue has been doing good shots. Get what they were going for but the execution failed. And the drop on her chin looks more gross than raw and natural.

I love this, and I think Alique is such a strong photographer. This is light years better than her Vogue Turkey cover

I love this! Even with the rain drop on the chin! I like the minimal retouching. She looks fresh (even in the rain). I would have liked a more body shot, but the close up is good.

She has a great smile, why not show it? If I saw this on the newsstand I would walk right past it. Why would I buy a magazine with a cranky looking lady on the cover?

It's better than Vogue Turkey cover but she seems so tired here.

I love it fashion-wise, for November...

The cover is undeniably more flattering than Natasha's current Vogue Turkey cover, but I'm still not exactly overwhelmed with this either. The cover image itself is rather beautiful, I like how much depth the image has, like the drops of water and I admire the fact Natasha's skin texture is visible. The shot also has quite a Porter-ish quality, no?

Vogue Netherlands, however, need some serious help with their art direction. A vast majority of the magazine's covers become instantly forgettable due to their hideous choice in fonts, colours and layout. The coral Vogue masthead doesn't work here whatsoever.
