Little review by me of the Dutch vogue september 2012 issue.
Cover model ymre stiekema by paul bellaart.
Editorial zuzana woman management
Editorial beauty toni garn REPRINT
Editorial marique schimmel by marc de groot
Editorial Vlada woman paris by alique
Editorial grace guozhi viva paris by marc de groot

Editorial with allot of models also ymre.
I do like the cover, and the editorial of grace bye marc de groot and the editorial of vlada is just great !

^ Thanks for the review! The contents seem promising enough, which will hopefully make up for what is in my opinion an absolutely dreadful cover.

I want to be impressed but I'm not. The styling is questionable.

The hair is bad place, the absence of text with the white background, the sluty tasteless styling, the face which is so not alluring and on and on and on I mean everything here is questionable to me héhé.

What a mess.

Yep too many things to play up with and they didn't know how to put it all together, it is such a big mess that it's funny to look at it, the Vogue masthead logo looks even fake with that coloring.

This is bad in every ways.
Bad photography, awful styling, bad hair, bad layout, bad colors.
I completely hate this...

They try so hard it's crazy and they do look like Vogue Paris it's insane, don't tell me they don't see it?!

HOWEVER and it's the big however, the editorials looks absolutely wonderful !!!! How could they not pick a photo from those shoots for the cover?! Way better than the VFNO line on her crotch OMG lol! I loooooooove the editorials, very spectacular, edgy, cool, well thought, the futuristic one is my favorite love love love lol. Somehow though I see a bit of British Vogue inspired way of putting the shots together I don't know.

Bleh! There were better ways to use black & gold, but not like this.

Another September cover is was really looking forward to and I'm so underwhelmed. Ymre does look really beautiful and sexy here but the styling is awful and there's no 'pop', especially for a September cover. I do like the minimal text on the cover, but the gold tag line across the page needs to go, it's too distracting.

Oh and I agree with Bertrando3, the editorials looks amazing. And thanks for the review, peter1980!

And last but not least Iris van Berne ! She is the last girl int the snaps

This seems very tacky to me. A totally uninspired route was taken for this cover imo, it honestly feels like they were just trying to get people talking about a pregnant model on the cover, and in the process forgot it was supposed to be beautiful too. Instead, they now have this gaudy mess for their most important issue to date. I'm very disappointed.
And Daphne should've gotten this, tbh.

this cover is bad... i don't like anything about it...

and the gold line going through her crotch is terrible!

Well this is the best NL Vogue cover for now.

1000% agreement plus the words: tasteless and campy :yuk:

I love that she's on the cover, she's beautiful especially at the current stage in life but like most say terrible styling indeed. It's the cover you want to root for but you can't really.

I just got the issue in the mail. Nothing to be excited about to be honest. There's even a reprint (Amyline by Sunsbo from VI). The only thing that's even remotely exciting is the preview shot for the October issue. It's a strikung shot of Saskia by Jan Welters.

I think cover is ok but it looks little bit weird that her head is behind letters ... she's peeking out between "vo" and "ue".

this is just terrible, how come no-one at the dutch vogue has any good ideas? how hard is it
