It's very Elle France to me. Something quick meant to be forgotten next week.

I don't understand this idea of choosing for a cover a portion of the picture with the horse, photoshopping the rest out and making her tights look presentable, makes me wonder if this was their real plan for the cover or if they just ended up choosing it because they really loved it or couldn't produce what they planned (who plans their cover out of a cutout?). Weird.

I just got the issue in the mail. Nothing to be excited about to be honest. There's even a reprint (Amyline by Sunsbo from VI). The only thing that's even remotely exciting is the preview shot for the October issue. It's a strikung shot of Saskia by Jan Welters.

They should have put her in leather pants rather. That would have altogether changed my opinion of this cover. It feels quite busy but I imagine it must be quite striking on the magazine stands.

This could be beautiful, leaving behind the horrible layout (the designing team need to be fired NOW ) the styling is questinable, Ymre is a great model and she's doing the best she can, even with her baby bump. But Lord, this is a mess!

This magazine is basicly about models and focus on dutch models.
They keep it safe all the time, nothing exiting coming from them...

This was one of the few September Vogue covers I was expecting to be great, probably because of Guinevere's and Rianne's gorgeous recent covers. Big disappointment. I really don't get the picture choice and the photoshopping, it does look improvised. You'd imagine they'd make a little effort to impress in September...

Not that Ymre is to blame for this mediocre cover..
None of the editorials are remotely interesting, photography or styling wise...in fact the best editorial is the reprint from VI

I thought the same! At least the cover looked kinda good as a thumbnail image.
