Nippon loves Julia she's featured quite a lot. The cover photo is a bit bland with all the beige but I find that the beatiful characters prevent it from being dull. Though VN has had so many blondes on the cover lately! I'd love to see a brunette or better yet a Japanese model on the cover!

The striking colors of the majority of the text against the rather plain color of Julia's outfit is somewhat unusual for Vogue Nippon (They usually have bright colored clothing on the cover as well, no?).

I checked fashion-iconography.net and the last time they had a japanese model on the cover was Devon Aoki may 2001 and she is not even 100% japanese. Ai was on the 12-00 cover and Ayumi Tanabe (never heard of her) was on the july 2000 cover. Their premiere issue also featured an Asian model with Kate Moss iconography identifies her as Ai but I doubt that...

Is the golf thing a supplement? It looks really cute The cover is a bit boring though. At least Julia looks her usual bright self.

I never find Vogue Nippon covers particularly interesting, but the contents are always consistently good and creative, IMO. Beside, just the incredibly luxurious feel of theses glossy pages in oversized format do the trick for me. Every times...
