Vogue Paris to Become Vogue France

It's possible, my french is not that good haha....i saw the post again now and it was from july and i assumed it was Sylvia departure because in my mind she went back to Elle...just to go back to VP again....but yea, maybe i was wrong...
What she did in Elle?

my god...im sure Sylvia is by far more more more interesting than this cringe girl...if someone at CN are reading this please...FIX IT...Merci...

We just have to accept the conceptual difference between Vogue Paris and Vogue France. Honestly, accepting that has made it easier to laugh at the garbage Eugenie produces every month. It's not a name change like Vogue Nippon to Vogue Japan. It's a totally different magazine!

I agree. As annoyed by the change from Paris to France as I think most of us initially were, it has been a blessing in diguise. Vogue Paris died a hero and didn't live long enough to see itself become the villain.

Carine's interview is BRILLIANT, truly truly amazing !!!
VOGUE PARIS under her was THE BEST ever in its history.
You can name AT LEAST 20 editorials under her who are iconic.
Emmanuelle Alt was a mistake and only obsessed with jeans and 3 models.
Eugenie doesn't have any skill, she should be out.
NEXT!

Eugénie Trochu did her own Une Fille Un Style:

Next level of gringe…

If Eugénie is the French Alexa Chung, it's fine

But we are talking about a Vogue editor at the capital of fashion, I am sorry but Eugénie looks like an Inventing Anna/ Emily in Paris extra on set wearing these silly clothes
The British clearly did it better

Out of all the new editors, Tiffany Godoy from Japan (even as a caucasian woman in Japan) is my fav with a clear personal style and POV. I hope she has more creative freedom to push it

yup. i however would've preferred it to go on longer though, even as a villain. Carine was the last realisatrice with a real sense of modern everyday glamour. she was ahead of the curve in that way.
Carine & Emmanuelle, each 10 yrs plus back to back was a good thing for Vogue Paris. I was hoping MAS could be there at least 5. I like very much her sterile unsentimental architectural way of seeing.

their editor's letters next to each other:

i don't think VF was forgivable to me post Ji Soo. Even when Carine sold out, her choice was Paris Hilton. It was still giving Paris. All in all i prefer when VP exemplified the best of the best. The same 3-white-girl-year-round-rotation is fine in retrospect.

Carine back at Vogue France for Life in Looks

She was wearing a Balenciaga jacket with her YSL skirt.
So much insight actually in this interview. She confirmed what was actually a legend, that Testino and Ford’s relationship was purely professional and cordial, compared to the friendship she forged with him. And that explains why Tom never worked with Testino after Gucci.

All and all, this is a real Fashion icon: someone who wore her clothes and styled herself or at least, someone whose clothes are an extension of her!

Her relationship with Margiela is so intriguing, the notes, the diner at his all white apartment.
So good to know that he is still in Paris…

What an irony for Carine, after her controversial exit from Vogue, to be celebrated by CN. I wonder how Emmanuelle feels…She wanted the position, her tenure was lackluster and when it times to create a connection with Paris and Vogue, they pass her!

I wonder if the Hedi banning of CN had an impact on the absence of EA.
