Bleh. These “artistic” covers bore me to death. This isn’t fashion.
I am with you, 1000%. Since the relaunch back in 2017, I have never EVER truly understood the hype that surrounds Vogue Portugal and their covers. All I get is... amateur and try-hard from each and every cover - these four right here within this thread included.
I'm wondering how good or bad are VP permotfin in terms of sales, reception, etc...someone have some info?
I like the cover 3 from an artistic perspective....but cover 2 if were styled better would have been a better balanced cover between art and fashion...
I agree. It’s looks so weird.Lol the first cover looks like her head got squashed by the G letter. Such weird proportion.
They’re trying so hard to adopt the Franca Sozzani and Meisel VI aestheticsBleh. These “artistic” covers bore me to death. This isn’t fashion.
Before Lighthouse price of magazine was around 3,5 euros.
After it, was increased to 5 euros. But today, these new ones are now 10 euros.
I bought first ones came out with them and half of magazine was publicity. I am not sure if it was 300 pages in total...
They still selling some of it but I don't see magazine being easily bought everywhere like it was with previous group. I could easily go to newstand supermarket, and see Vogue there.
I don't intend to buy it. To me magazine lost a lot of quality, in it's articles, photoshots. I usually would buy to keep up with trends, interviews to fashion designs, being now their are more focus on putting people who aren't interesting fashion wise or just exist for a minute.
Even tho magazine before didn't had as much buzz as it does now, I mean this team does focus a lot of it, it had a good content journalistic.
I mean you do see people online talking more about covers then what exactly is inside magazine - I mean actual content of it, not editorials someone posts online and everyone shares it.
