Vogue Russia April 2015 : Natasha Poly by Txema Yeste

Natasha looks gorgeous as always, but it just feels stiff. And the studio setting isn't helping either.

I'm really on the fence about this cover. Natasha looks really beautiful (as always), but I can't get on board with butterflies. I do appreciate doing something unexpected, that is always a good thing. With so many things being done over and over again, it's nice to see something you don't see on every cover. I usually also like Txema Yeste's work but this somehow doesn't feel like his work. I am very excited to see the editorial though.

it's a rather wonderful cover. I can't get myself to get that excited about natasha these days, but the photo and the styling really work

The butterflies should not have made it up past her neck, would have worked fine.

Just because it's Natasha doesn't mean it's not ugly. It's just so bad.

Very very airbrushed ^^ I think the one on her lips is too much. The idea is pretty nice. (Btw I love the McQueen pic !)

Great than Yeste shot his first Vogue cover, but Natasha looks awkward.

Wow, 11 for Poly. Congrats to Txema on his VR cover debut. I think this is a great cover for Vogue Russia, but it could have been better. I love the butterflies, but the one on her mouth is just ABSOLUTE OVERKILL.

Are they the first one to shoot the Margiela pieces?? What a feat.

Natasha Poly's editorial has got to be the BEST editorial Vogue Russia has ever produced under the new EIC. Finally, I see an editorial worthy to be featured in VOGUE. It's so strong. Visually captivating and the styling is on point. You see direction, creativity and inspiration - the 3 thing they've been tragically lacking. I also love how it wasn't just a lifeless editorial on a gray background. It just saddens me that the cover does not capture the energy and beauty of the editorial.

The Goldberg editorial is okay for me. It's their typical editorial. Somehow this could pass for British Vogue.

The overall feel of this cover reminds of me Aliona's era. The layout, colors, energy
