It looks like a cover of Tatler, I think it's first cover choice of new editor and hope she won't put celebs on the cover often.
But IMO, there's also another thing in choosing Alina and not other Russian woman. I think people from Russia will understand what I mean...

P.S. In previous issue, January's cover girl was described as : most mysterious Russian woman. And it's Alina Kabaeva?

It was mentioned in previous issue that the next cover girl would be the most mysterious russian woman (or something like that - I don't remember correctly). Kristina, seriously? I mean, nobody cares about her and her "mysterious" part.

I've never thought about Alina as a Vogue girl, but I understand she was chosen.

Yes, they are. They also use ropes, balls, clubs and hoops.

I don't like the cover. It looks very cheap and doesn't exactly scream 'fashion'.
