Vogue Russia May 2013 : Natasha Poly by Patrick Demarchelier

I'm thrilled there are a few extra goodies inside the issue, to make the purchase seem more worthwhile. I haven't bought Vogue Russia for some time and I've come to realise how expensive it is here. Although I don't hesitate when there's something fabulous to look at. I'm a massive fan of this cover.

Anna Selezneva's two images are gorgeous, I assume they were taken the same time her last few by Patrick Demarchelier, for Vogue Russia were shot. Natasha's editorial is just wonderful, I think each and every picture has a strong point. The styling doesn't overthrow the images but the theme is still persistent throughout, I admire that. At least this is a thousand times better than Natasha's last Russian Vogue appearance - I still haven't bought that issue because of Ellen von Unwerth's horrendous cover and editorial. I'm not even an admirer of Ellen's pictures within this issue of Natasha, either.

Thanks to Mat Cyruss, for the digital extractions.

This is a really solid issue. All the editorials are fantastic, including Angela's who I'm always happy to see.

I am allll about Anna's pictures. Granted they are nothing ground breaking or new, but she looks amazing.

I really love Anna's ed, but what's up with there only being two pictures?
Same with Natasha's "Once Upon a Time in America" only having three pictures.

I'm sure there was a bunch of amazing shots that they could have added to both stories.
Is VR trying to save on paper cost or something lol?

Although the cover is a bit unfortunate, I'm loving some of the shots on Natasha's editorial. I don't know why though but it doesn't look like Patrick shot these though... maybe it's the editing? Anyways I absolutely love Arizona's editorial. Every shot is magical and makes me want to know more about Tom Craig as a photographer.

arizona is so annoying but her editorial is the best one here!

WOW Arizona and Angela look amazing, great editorials.
Cant say the same about Natasha, not actualy her fault, but I hate when Patrick does this kind of studio editorials that look very cold, like way more those he does for Vogue US on a dirty grey background and a more natural lighting.
