In a sales-on-freefall climate, the collector-oriented approach is an option. Elevate the product, turn it into a covetable object beyond practical function, capitalize on already engaged readers who make loyal consumers in related areas. It is an idea as obvious as it is tricky to implement. Artsy and commercial is a tough line to walk, specially for a new edition of such a venerable institution as Vogue. Maybe Vogue Scandinavia just needs time to develop the project. They have my vote of confidence.

Disclaimer: I am aware that all of the above is a bunch of platitudes. I wanted to say it anyway.
