This hair really does not work for her. She's naturally pretty but looks rumpled and plain.

She is set up to look like an overworked middle-aged woman whose style never evolved past 1989. And yet, she comes out Lily, even more interesting, more beautiful than usual. Editors are taking risks, and she delivers every time. Regardless of my opinion on Emily in Paris and the promotional coverage leading to season premiere, Lily has set in motion an impressive tour de force, the industry is all in, and I am enjoying every minute of it, even the less-than-stellar moments. Good for her.

Okay, I get that Emily in Paris second season needs all the promotion it can get (btw, I so wanted to like the series, but I gave up after second or third episode of the first season because it was like watching a PARODY of Sex And The City mixed with The Devil Wears Prada. And, to be honest, I haven't even watched SATC, I was curious about the new Patricia Field's project ONLY!), but I really don't get *WHY* Mike Desir, Gregory Russell and Ken O'Rourke HATE Lily Collins this much!

I'm instantly reminded of Alexandra Shulman's British Vogue upon looking at this - and I'm not complaining. After Vogue Hong Kong, the cover is inoffensive on the eye, love the composition, the colour-block styling, the hair and the barely-there makeup.
