I only come here to check out Vogue Ukraine, and I am seldom disappointed.

This magazine truly has stepped up its game. Very cool cover and the preview looks interesting as well :) I like it!

I love it, specially the color scheme. VU doing VI better than the italian mag :)

I don't get why people are acting like this magazine is the second coming of VI, like come on... at MOST it resembles the photography of the no name photographers it uses in the deep sections. :rolleye: But whatever, this is isn't even close to Meisel on a bad day.

^because VI/Meisel used to be more "experimenting" in their approach to styling and photography in the past, similar to what VU is doing now imo.

^ Yeah, but IMO this magazine isn't "experimenting," they're cribbing Vogue Italia's greatest hits and reproducing it. Like, I don't think anything Vogue Ukraine produces is horrible, but none of it is memorable because it's already been done 100X better 20 years ago!

Great cover, I love her and it is always a pleasure to look at an editorial of hers and read her interviews. Can´t wait to see the rest of it

Steven Meisel didn't "experiment" with photography, he played with it. I actually appreciated him because he was the only major photographer who could bring something underrated like Lomography and Hipstamatic on Vogue. People spoke a lot about the resemblance between VI and VU but I don't see anything similar among them. Vogue Italia is all about extravagant fashion and Vogue Ukraine just tries too hard to be cool or edgy, always serves us exciting covers with disappointing editorials IMO.

Jessica is part of the group of prestigious celebrities that are not only very talented, they're also beautiful and smart people. Love the cover, the subject and the magazine. Best Vogue out there.

Unexpected and really gorgeous.

Whatever is happening at Vogue Ukraine really needs to happen across the other Vogues as well.

Yes =D Just marvelous~ Have my fingers crossed for the contents! I wonder what the cover if anything is referring to.

Welcome to 2016 then! I think you'll be hard-pressed to find anyone currently doing stuff we've never seen before, especially in terms of photography. You'll also find that over the past 20 odd years, photography has been mostly referential. So why rail against those who don't send out facsimiles, but at least try to inject something fresh to a stale movement?

I'm a big fan of VU's direction, but I don't like the cover. It's maybe too surrealist for my taste, but when I compare this to Dusan's last VU cover (with Karmen P, in animal print, I think?) then the effort is noted.
