Vogue Ukraine May 2018 : Giedre Dukauskaite by Nagi Sakai

I think it's a great cover. Not every month need to be epic or fierce (Vogue Japan), they have a great balance. They're particularly brave, always going for colours such as green or yellow which many editors believe to be the kiss of death.

I find Giedre's resurgence very interesting because she's now much better than when she was younger.

This is actually quite an interesting and cool cover. The only thing that bugs me is the fact that the camera is not perfectly straight....

The old Vogue died along with print and glamour.

What I applaud them for is how I can see the cover picture somewhere without tags and I would already know it's Vogue Ukraine. They've done better eds though. It feels like a weaker version of Alek's ed for them months ago.

what does Alter Culture mean and how does it relate to this editorial?

I would have preferred the picture of her looking in the window as the cover, it’s a great shot!

I feel like they were going for a Jamie Hawkesworth style but the colouring is just too dark. It looks bleak.
