The Mariah Carey cover which closed out 2022 still manages to blow ALL of these covers out the water, IMO. W's annual best performance covers have always been questionable and always flop (hard) but I do like Ana de Armas' cover here. She's gorgeous and I find that cover to be also!

She did Causeway which got her great reviews, but didn't get that much attention award wise besides Brian Tyree Henry's performance (he should be getting covers tbh).
