I think Emma Corrin gave her all and she works as a Tim Walker character, a mischevious and tom-boyish one. Regarding the lack of budget, it seems like he's laughing about it with the cardboard box pictures. I'm not a big fan of the brand...but the Schiaparelli pieces were a good call, they serve as both costume and backdrop.

The Beanie cover is too safe, you just know I&V bring a roll of black ribbon to their every shoot just in case they need to transform the subject into a Bardot-esque sex kitten.

The third cover is not good even though it included my favorite dress from that LV show, the face expression is off and the cropping feels random and almost they did because they were asked to show more of the dress...

Beanie Feldstein's cover is the only true standout here, because a flawless black and white portrait from Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin is always a good idea and an instant classic. The other covers can't hold a candle to Feldstein!

Looks like W is recovering its former pizzaz, at least a fraction of it...Grace's edit is good as is Pavarotti's which, although agressive to the eyes, has such strong energy, if maybe to the detriment of the elegance.

The Julia Garner photoshoot with the Deneuve-esque styling and hairstyle has a compelling narrative, she's been criminally underused since her moment of glory covering VI.
