W May 2012 : Nicole Kidman & Clive Owen by Emma Summerton

I'm a sucker for Nicole Kidman, but this doesn't really look like her...

Ew  So lifeless, not to mention that I can't feel any chemistry between them.

I know she is probably very photoshopped and all but I always thought she looked good as a blonde and the shorter haircit suits her well.

The editorial looks okay. I expected more stronger colours though.

Interesting to see Emma Summerton shooting the cover. It's a mess though. The composition is all over the place with Clive slightly out of focus in the background and Nicole's akward and forced pose. Her wig is also a mess and it's such a terrible shame that Nicole's face is smoothed out almost beyond recognition while Clive's face is (seemingly) left untouched. Just like when Nicole shared the cover with Daniel Craig a few years ago.

Love the composition of this cover, i think everything works here, and Kidman looks beautiful, even with that wig. Nice to see Summerton's name, kind of refreshing for W. Very excited for this movie, as someone who always had an interest in Gellhorn i hope their movie portrays her in her true colors, not some pathetic Hollywood bs!

I love this cover, especially the cool shades. Sure she looks photoshopped but it works quite well with the image.

Sick of that Prada body though:yuk:

i can't feel the chemistry between em, such a waste but I quite like Nicole in blonde

I really like the icy feel of the cover and the ''frustrated married couple'' theme of the ed. But what really excites me is Jessica wearing couture. Wonder who shot her...

that is such a bad wig, and she looks so cold. But at least the colors match her personality

Her hair is red again these days and they stick an ugly blonde wig on her?

I like it. It has this inviting mood to it

it doesn't look like her AT ALL. what's the point if you can't even tell who it is?

Would have prefered Jessica C to get the cover. She is due a big solo cover and W would be a good fit.

I think Jessica would have sold better too. Maybe there are two covers and Jessica has one.

It indeed invites you to take a look in what seems to be a depiction of a disfunctional marriage.
