This ed prompted some readers to write in complaining about the image of Shalom in the green dress (she's touching herself, or at least has her hand over her crotch.) Notice in the credits on the last image how only Shalom and Tanga are credited, despite a strong Stella Tennant presence (and one photo of Naomi Campbell.)

one of the handful of 90s W mags I've somehow hung onto. the shot of Maggie all sulking, totally badass in that fur/hoodie is everything! so tried to emulate that look in middle school.

Thanks again for your wonderful scans t-rex! Every old issue that resurfaces here proves that Tonchi's W can't hold a candle to the magazine McCarthy and his team created. Curious to see Missy's shots and the Carter Smith ed.
