What I enjoy about Bella is that she actually shows up in actual editorials and not just when she's on the cover something we don't see from Kendall or Gigi who basically just get the celebrity treatment.

Someone should tell Edward that quantity does not equate quality. Or maybe he's doing it to deflect from the low fashion feature count in this magazine. People bang on about US Vogue and their group castings, that's really nothing in comparison to what's happening here.

Bella's feature looks great, despite the imposing (and awfully gaudy) setting. Far too much taxidermy for my taste, who would live like this?

The McDean ed doesn't look like a McDean ed... It looks cheap, cheesy. Hate these eds PACKED with models

Bella is just a natural force.
Let's face it, she's not doing much, but she still manages to convey a lot of emotion. Her eyes do most of the talking.

I love this issue´s concept of having two halves, one dedicated to women´s fashion/celebs and one to men´s :)

MAKE LOVE, NOT WAR
PHOTOGRAPHER: CRAIG McDEAN
MODELS: Ondria Hardin, Reid Rohling, Maria Borges, Julia Hafstrom, Xiao Wen Ju, Irina Shayk, Guinevere van Seenus, Lili Summer, Abiah Hostvedt, Nicola Wincenc, Sang Woo Kim, Bhumika Arora, Amilna Estevão, Akin Burke
STYLING: EDWARD ENNINFUL
HAIR: SAM McKNIGHT
MAKE-UP: PETER PHILIPS
NAILS: MEGUMI YAMAMOTO & RIEKO OKUSA
SET DESIGN: PIERS HANMER

In the digital issue the layout is different. There are two sets of pics, one in the women´s section and one in men´s. Each has either the top half or bottom of these images, making the result less cluttered.

I really don't understand the 'The New Royals' concept, when 95% of the people featured are established celebrities. Still great editorial though, some great shots - Chiwetel especially.

Is it a reference to people saying such-and-such actress is a 'queen?' Like, "Meryl Streep is the queen!" ? It's so dumb and I doubt Tonchi could explain it...

Hang on a minute, but then that means that everybody in the entertainment industry could get their chance in this magazine. Because somewhere out there, someone regards Carly-Rae Jepsen, for instance, as their queen. Silly idea, and a covert strategy to just draw a few names from a hat.

I think that's the point. In theory they're saying it takes time to "ascend" to royal status. It has nothing to do with "new faces" or "ones to watch" these people have established careers and have reached the level of Hollywood royalty. At least that's what I think they're trying to go for even though I wouldnt necessarily agree with their choices.

Then I don't agree with the choices, AT ALL. Nicky Hilton, Elle Fanning, even Chiwetel, next to Calvin Klein, Cindy and Jodie. Blasphemous!

There is a GIGANTIC Burberry ad that folds out. Not the most pleasant surprise I must say.

With US Vogue for comparison:
